Parent Letter Explaining New Reading Program

When our school changed reading programs and started teaching Spalding Reading, a lot of the parents had questions about the reading program, because it was different from what they were used to in traditional schools. In an effort to explain our reading program, I created a visual flow chart of how we teach comprehension and decoding. I added an explanation and gave a copy of the letter to all of the parents at parent-teacher conferences. The parents and the other teachers found the explanation clear and easy to understand, and all of the second and third grade teachers used the letter I created to give out to parents during the conferences.
