A kaleidoscope is the symbol of who I am as a teacher and learner.

I spend my life fascinated by the myriad of perspectives and paradigms meant to explain the world and human experience. I read voraciously because it gives me a chance to “try on” other perspectives and experience the world through new and interesting points of view.

I was drawn to teaching because I found that the ideas and perspectives that most delighted me were those of children. I love looking at the world through children’s eyes! My teaching focus is listening to children and opening up conversations with them, thereby creating opportunities for us both to learn from each other as a community of scholars.
